Dr. Davina Chan received her doctoral training in psychology at Harvard, Stanford, and UC Berkeley.  She is a licensed clinical psychologist and is on faculty at UC Berkeley and the University of San Francisco. In addition, she has served as a liaison for graduate programs to major hospitals in the San Francisco Bay Area.  She is also reiki certified.

As a first generation Asian American who immigrated to the US and teaches courses in Asian American Psychology, her knowledge of Asian American    cultural issues stems from personal experience, as well as from academic training.  According to her parents, her first complete sentence in English was “I’m a mixed up kid!”

She also regularly teach courses in East Asian Meditation Practices and has studied and practiced a number of different types of meditation from Eastern as well as Western, spiritual traditions.  She is dedicated to helping people grow spiritually and supporting them in finding and achieving their deepest, most meaningful goals.
